About The Position

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Project Manager to support industrial projects. Ferguson has been a source of quality supplies for a variety of industries since 1953, aiming to make customers' complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable. This position has the potential to be remote after an initial training period, which will take place at an approved industrial branch.

Requirements

  • Experience in Industrial Inside Sales or Project Management.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and focus on quality output.
  • Knowledge of PVF materials and processes.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate commercial and technical specifications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ability to coordinate several major activities simultaneously.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Team player with the aptitude for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and building relationships with team members, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key customer accounts from inquiry to award date through project closeout.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, contractors, and owners to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and manage multiple project schedules.
  • Monitor progress of overall construction activities.
  • Lead calls with management to review job site issues, work schedules, and technical issues.
  • Organize and schedule regular vendor meetings to provide updates on deliveries, scheduling, and other timeline activities.
  • Organize and schedule regular customer updates on all aspects of the project.
  • Review and approve suggested changes by customers or vendors and coordinate appropriate updates to scheduling and other timeline activities.
