About The Position

Universal Industrial Sales, Inc. is a locally owned and operated steel fabrication company specializing in highway sign structures, bridge rail, traffic poles and guardrail. The Project Manager finds new opportunities through bid letting and customer relationships. The PM manages the job from RFQ thru submittals, fabricating, coating, shipping and invoicing. The PM builds relationships with customer thru excellent customer service and representation of UIS.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Take ownership of all assigned tasks and responsibilities, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Understands Customer's Needs (schedule for delivery, etc.)
• Bid Letting
• Shopdrawing Submittals / Returns
• RFI's & Other Submittals (Paint Plan, etc)
• Production - Priority / Schedule / Required Date
• Shipping - Schedule Loads
