About The Position

Reporting directly to the Sales Operations Manager within the Sales Operations department, the Sales Project Coordinator is the primary point of contact for our showrooms, providing sales operations support while meeting our standards of excellence in our customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ previous experience in customer service
  • High school graduate, 2 or 4-year college graduate preferred.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone.
  • Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating CRM and Order Management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager.
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of chat, email, and Salesforce inquiries, including quote, order, and return entry, meeting daily service-level expectations.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to assigned regional showrooms, contributing to revenue attainment and elevated service standards.
  • Own and actively manage the open order pipeline, partnering with field sales and Business Development Specialists to resolve exceptions and meet order management SLAs.
  • Accurately process returns and specialty order types (including showhouse and international), maintaining ownership through full documentation closeout.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to maintain accurate delivery timelines, particularly for third-party logistics orders and required-by dates.
  • Resolve routine showroom and customer issues independently, escalating complex concerns appropriately to management to ensure timely resolution.
  • Leverage expertise in order fulfillment processes to identify gaps and recommend process or technology improvements that enhance customer outcomes.
  • Actively participate in product, system, and design training, support key accounts, attend customer meetings as needed, and perform additional duties as required.
