About The Position

ARDEX Americas, part of the global ARDEX Group, has been setting the standard in high-performance building solutions for over 75 years. They are seeking a field-based SALES PROFESSIONAL for their New England Team, preferably based in Boston, MA. This role involves daily field travel within the territory and occasional overnight travel. The ideal candidate will combine a customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for solving customer problems. This position offers the opportunity to manage an established territory, identify new growth opportunities, and build long-term customer partnerships while representing a premium brand recognized for quality, innovation, and performance in the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Proven success in outside sales within building materials, construction products, flooring, tiling, or related industries.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply product systems in real-world applications.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, including training and demonstration experience.
  • Practical problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel daily throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and carry up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate power and non-power tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with flooring or tile installation systems is preferred.
  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales of ARDEX and HENRY products throughout the territory.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and jobsite activity.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and growth strategies.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and customer engagement.
  • Develop relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and other industry influencers.
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships while expanding market penetration.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, contractor clinics, and educational training programs.
  • Support contractors on jobsites with product recommendations and technical guidance.
  • Drive product specification activity within the architectural and design community.
  • Partner closely with technical, marketing, and customer support teams to provide complete customer solutions.
