About The Position

The Sales Porter is responsible for greeting customers, ensuring vehicles are moved efficiently and on time, and performing various tasks to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the dealership's vehicles and facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and satisfactory customer experience.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have an insurable driving record.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure vehicles are moved as directed in a timely manner.
• Restock supplies, perform light cleaning duties of the entire store, deliver vehicles, and wash vehicles.
• Move and park vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow, enhancing customer convenience and satisfaction.
• Arrive on time and follow a daily morning schedule to keep all vehicles clean before opening.
• Clean vehicle exteriors and interiors, including removing fingerprints and dust.
• Ensure vehicle interiors are clean, carpets are vacuumed, and all windows are clean.
• Shine tires and clean rims.
• Remove debris, leaves, and dirt from vehicles.
• Routinely walk around the entire building and inventory lots to clean the property of trash.
• Fuel sold vehicles pursuant to dealership policy.
• Remove all stickers and plastic from sold vehicles (exterior & interior).
• Wash and dry sold vehicle exteriors, ensuring they are free of water spots.
• Thoroughly clean and vacuum the interior of sold vehicles, including seats, under seats, dashboards, floors, floor mats, cup holders, door panels, and trunk.
• Clean all windows inside and outside of sold vehicles.
• Wipe down tires and apply tire shine, and clean rims on sold vehicles.
• Park sold vehicles in the delivery area, turn off and lock the car, and physically hand the car key to the Sales Representative.
• Return vehicles for correction of deficiencies if not accepted by the sales associate or customer for delivery.
