About The Position

The Sales Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership's vehicle inventory and lot. This role involves cleaning vehicles, managing inventory, and ensuring the lot is presentable. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Interaction with customers and responsible handling of hazardous materials are also part of the job.

Requirements

• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
• Able to lift 25lbs repeatedly.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of all vehicles, including engine compartments.
• Help to maintain all tools and equipment used.
• Verify serial numbers of incoming vehicles.
• Park vehicles in the lot in an orderly manner.
• Catalog and store keys for cars in inventory.
• Remove snow from vehicles.
• Re-park vehicles on the lot after a sale to maximize space utilization.
• Maintain the appearance of the lot and property in and around the facility.
• Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by the manager.
