About The Position

The Sales & Partnerships Coordinator plays an integral role in helping the Long Center achieve its earned and contributed revenue goals in support of our mission. Working closely with the sales and sponsorship teams, this position coordinates the administrative, marketing, and partnership activities that support the sales process from initial inquiry through long-term stewardship. The Sales & Partnerships Coordinator serves as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned partners, coordinates sponsorship fulfillment across departments, and helps ensure prospective and existing partners receive an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys building relationships while keeping multiple projects moving forward. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in corporate partnerships, sales operations, and nonprofit revenue generation while working collaboratively with teams across the Long Center.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and customize proposals, agreements, and other sales materials.
  • Coordinate the estimate and proposal process with Event Services.
  • Track contracts, invoices, and payments in partnership with Finance.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Long Center CRM and other systems, including contacts, opportunities, proposals, contracts, and invoices.
  • Manage incoming rental and partnership inquiries, triaging opportunities to the appropriate team members.
  • Support the sales team with contract preparation, invoicing, and event settlement.
  • Partner across departments to improve internal processes and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Customize pitch decks and presentation materials for prospective clients and partners.
  • Coordinate regular communications with existing and prospective partners, including monthly email campaigns.
  • Support top-of-funnel business development by conducting prospect research, maintaining lead lists, and assisting with lead generation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and partnership assets.
  • Help keep prospects and existing partners informed about the Long Center's mission, programming, and partnership opportunities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate partners through regular check-ins and ongoing relationship management.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new partners and ensure a positive partner experience.
  • Manage sponsor fulfillment by tracking and delivering contractual benefits across departments.
  • Monitor partnership commitments and ensure timely fulfillment of partner and sponsor benefits.
  • Track sponsor activities and prepare reports demonstrating fulfillment and partnership value.
  • Recommend enhancements to sponsorship benefits and partnership opportunities to strengthen retention and growth.
  • Support contributed revenue initiatives and events that cultivate and steward corporate partners, sponsors, members, and donors.
  • Collaborate with Programming, Marketing, Development, Event Services, and Operations to deliver successful partnership activations and events.
  • Attend Long Center events as needed in support of clients and sponsors and/or to support the operational success of the event.
