The Opportunity Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Sales Operations Specialist in our Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. In this role, the Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for project management in Sales Operations and Training of Sales Operations processes. The incumbent will be responsible for effectively communicating to the Field sales force, Marketing and Training. The primary role of this position is to execute processes and programs to streamline efficiencies for the field sales force and train to the changes as it relates to the division strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience post-college education
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability or aptitude to multi-task as new projects and challenges are incurred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales Operations programs and tools
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training and Sales and manage cross functional projects
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Management and various Abbott sales organizations and Marketing to create, implement, and optimize all necessary Sales Operations functions.
  • Identify opportunities to create and implement strategies that aid in the development of sales tools and training programs to optimize efficiencies.
  • Identify incremental resource requirements needed to achieve goals and collaborate with Marketing and Leadership.
  • Routinely identify opportunities develop/modify plans.
  • Anticipate change and take proactive measures to address.
  • Responsible for developing, executing strategic sales tools and training
  • Ability to work closely with Manager and interdisciplinary teams to develop tools, communication and training
  • Must prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment.
  • Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities
  • Complete monthly budget reporting and analysis
  • Manage monthly headcount tracking, reporting, and optimization
  • Manage Ad Hoc Projects, include business analysis and presentation development
