About The Position

Robinson Lumber Company is looking to hire a Sales Operations Specialist to join our team in a Logistics-focused role. Responsible for the execution side of our order fulfillment process, you will manage transportation bookings, shipment documentation, and cargo coordination from booking through final delivery. We have an established operations team that will provide one-on-one training and mentoring. A good candidate is process-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and follow-through matter.

Requirements

• Experience in freight, transportation, or logistics coordination preferred
• Be highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and consistently — internally and with external partners
• Possess a teamwork mentality

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and booking domestic and international freight
• Managing cargo readiness, shipping schedules, and carrier communication
• Preparing and issuing shipment documentation for export and domestic orders
• Monitoring shipment status and proactively communicating updates to internal teams
• Maintaining accurate shipment records in Salesforce
• Supporting customs, compliance, and regulatory documentation requirements
• Other tasks as assigned
