About The Position

Deighton is looking for a detail-driven and forward-thinking Sales Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for executing and maintaining the operational foundation that helps drive Deighton’s revenue lifecycle, from opportunity pursuit and proposal submission through implementation, renewal, and expansion. This role focuses on process execution, CRM integrity, RFP and proposal operations, and actionable reporting, enabling cross-functional teams to operate from a shared, reliable revenue operating model. This is a hands-on manager-level role that works across global sales and professional services teams to ensure consistency, visibility and follow-through.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of revenue operations, sales operations, or a related role
  • Experience in B2B or public sector, RFP driven sales cycles
  • Hands-on experience administering, managing and implementing CRM systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modeling, complex formulas).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI or a comparable BI platform (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Pipedrive, Salesforce, or Marketo.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels, digital analytics, and sales reporting structures.
  • Ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations and provide business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Own, manage and maintain end-to-end revenue operations processes across Sales, Professional Services and Client Success
  • Helps operationalize pre-sales to implementation handoffs, ensuring scope, assumptions and delivery readiness are clearly documented
  • Identify operational gaps impacting time to revenue and escalate improvement opportunities
  • Ensure and drive consistent definitions, stages and metrics across teams
  • Own, maintain and administer the CRM and other related internal systems: Pipeline tracking Forecasting Renewals and expansions Professional services revenue visibility and opportunity hand backs
  • Ensure required fields, stages and data standards are followed
  • Support CRM adoption and data hygiene across teams
  • Produce recurring dashboards and reports for leadership on system and revenue health
  • Deliver regular reporting on: Pipeline health RFP and bid activity Win/loss trends Implementation timelines Renewal and expansion visibility CRM system health
  • Support quarterly planning and forecasting with accurate, timely data
  • Translate data into practical insights to support decision-making
  • Design, develop and maintain dashboards used across Marketing, Sales and Client Success
  • Create and manage recurring reports on campaign performance, funnel activity, pipeline health and NPS
  • Report on trends in customer behavior, lead generation, product usage and engagement to support planning and forecasting
  • Mange proposal templates and reusable content components
  • Monitor procurement portals for submissions, deadlines, amendments and addenda
  • Coordinate proposal inputs across cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with submission requirements and timelines
  • Capture outcomes and feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Support the creation and optimization of marketing automation programs, including nurture flows, lead scoring, segmentation, and lifecycle engagement.
  • Help maintain clean, reliable data across CRM and marketing automation platforms (Pipedrive, Campaigns, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
  • Work with team members to define measurement approaches for campaigns, programs, and events.
