About The Position

Ericsson is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to drive and continuously improve our sales processes and tools, while ensuring compliance with all relevant directives and guidelines. Based in Montreal and reporting to the Head of Business Development within Market Area Americas – CU Canada, this role leads sales support operations for the Customer Unit, ensuring accurate quoting, adherence to contracts, and timely booking and invoicing. The position works closely with teams across Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Pricing Management, Contract Management, Business Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to support business execution, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, or Quote-to-Cash functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex initiatives and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and structured execution skills, with a focus on process improvement and solving complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, planning, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (customer and material master, order management).
  • Strong knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, including quoting, contract compliance, booking, invoicing, and revenue governance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Sales Support team in GSC Mexico to consistently meet KPIs, uphold standardized processes, and deliver operational excellence.
  • Ensure all quoting and pricing activities align with contractual frameworks, product baselines, and booking/invoicing requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end quote-to-cash processes, including BOM validation, SAP setup, purchase order resolution, accounts receivable follow-ups, and audit preparedness.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for challenges related to quoting, booking, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial governance cycles through accurate reporting and consistent process adherence.
  • Own and maintain customer and material master data in SAP, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Drive quote-to-cash transformation initiatives for the Customer Unit.
