Sales Operations Manager

VendorPMToronto, ON
Hybrid

About The Position

We exist to modernize the way that vendors and property managers work together. We do this by building a complete vendor lifecycle management solution, purpose-built for the world of commercial real estate. Today, over 10,000 buildings and 70,000 vendors rely on VendorPM for credentialing, tendering, and contract management. We drive serious efficiency and cost savings for property managers, while unlocking growth opportunities for vendors across North America. We’re one of Toronto’s fastest-growing startups, a certified “Great Place to Work,” and recognized in 2023, 2024 and 2025 as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada. Backed by world-class SaaS and PropTech —investors-Bessemer Venture Partners, the former CEO of Twitter, Prudence VC, and Navitas Capital-we’re just getting started. Our team is scrappy, resourceful, and laser-focused on impact. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves turning ideas into action, and wants to grow alongside the business you’re helping build-we want to hear from you. The Role: We're looking for a Sales Operations Manager to optimize sales execution across our Vendor Sales organization. This role sits at the intersection of people and automation - you'll oversee SDR team effectiveness, working in tandem with our Sales Manager and RevOps Manager, while also owning our self-serve, automated sales motion end-to-end. You'll report directly to the CRO and be responsible for building the scalable processes, tooling, and enablement programs that drive vendor acquisition, rollout, and revenue growth without adding headcount. This is a hybrid ops role: part team-facing (working with the Sales Manager to help enable our SDR team) and part systems-facing (automation, self-serve conversion, outreach infrastructure). You'll need to be equally comfortable challenging the status quo and getting deep into Salesforce workflow logic.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related role, with direct experience managing or closely overseeing a sales team (SDR/BDR preferred)
  • Proven experience building or scaling a self-serve / automated / PLG sales motion alongside a human-led sales team
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce (required) — building workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • Experience designing onboarding, training, or enablement programs
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills — you'll work closely with CS, Product, and Marketing
  • A builder's mindset: comfortable creating scalable systems and processes from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders (this role reports to the CRO)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sales engagement and outreach tooling (e.g., Clay, Dialpad, or similar) — familiarity with these or comparable platforms is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable translating data into process changes and forecasts

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and build upon scalable sales processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms for the Vendor Sales team
  • Develop structured onboarding programs to reduce SDR ramp time
  • Create training materials, documentation, and resources that improve vendor conversion rates
  • Identify and solution bottlenecks in the vendor rollout funnel and implement scalable solutions
  • Own the self-serve vendor sales motion and revenue number end-to-end
  • Improve self-serve sales performance through automation, personalization, and process optimization
  • Continuously optimize the sales engine to increase revenue capacity without adding SDR resources
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to improve self-serve vendor conversion rates
  • Own vendor forecasting on an ongoing basis, for both internal teams and external clients
  • Partner with RevOps to translate data insights into concrete process improvements
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, flagging risks and opportunities to the CRO
  • Own vendor rollout updates for internal teams and external clients, including joint CS updates
  • Partnered with RevOps and the PM for Customer Success to implement automated workflows that streamlined the data handoff and data cleanup process
  • Partner with Customer Success and RevOps to build post-churn vendor sequences and win-back flows that maximize revenue
  • Partner with Product to successfully implement the National Account Structure, enabling support for multi-location vendor organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between Sales, CS, Product, and Marketing on vendor-related initiatives

Benefits

  • 3 weeks vacation
  • 8 wellness days to recharge
  • Benefits
  • Equity
  • Employer top-up for maternity and parental leave
  • company and team socials
