About The Position

Engine is transforming business travel by creating a personalized, rewarding, and simple experience. They are building a platform that integrates corporate travel, a charge card, and modern spend management. Engine is seeking an exceptional, mission-driven Supply Sales Operations Manager to join their team. This role is central to strategy and execution, involving the development of processes, tools, and reporting to support the sales team. It's a hands-on position requiring strong business partnering, financial and business reporting, planning, and process design and implementation skills. The ideal candidate can balance big-picture thinking with tactical execution to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar role with ownership of processes and outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including building reports, managing records, and setting up workflows.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and storytelling from spreadsheets or dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and explain complex concepts simply.
  • Proactive and self-directed, capable of identifying problems, developing solutions, and executing them.
  • Adaptable to a fast-moving company environment with shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing SQL or working hands-on with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve how the sales team operates by mapping current deal processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions.
  • Create clear, repeatable processes to ensure consistency and efficiency for the sales team.
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure adoption and sustainability of new processes.
  • Own forecasting and performance reporting, including running weekly and monthly pipeline reviews and forecasting.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track account and rep performance against targets.
  • Identify trends in data to uncover opportunities and risks.
  • Manage account division and sales compensation plans to motivate the team and reward desired behaviors.
  • Own the health and accuracy of the Salesforce CRM, including account ownership, record types, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the data team to ensure reporting systems accurately reflect business operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues within tools and data.
  • Lead special initiatives and projects, such as market analysis and business case development for strategic changes.
  • Assist with planning cycles, including goal-setting and headcount modeling.
  • Facilitate collaboration between sales, finance, data, and product teams.
