About The Position

Ferguson is now hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Sales Operations Coordinator! The Sales job family merchandises, promotes and sells the company's products, and services to customers. General areas of responsibility include developing and implementing sales strategies; identifying potential customers; managing existing customer and vendor relationships; and monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends. Positions in sales operations are responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process, protecting sales and profit and simplifying complex sales. This is a Hybrid role based out of Newport News, VA location, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.

Requirements

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvement and process documentation.
  • Demonstrates clear, concise communication across individual conversations, group discussions, and written correspondence.
  • Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Thrives in a fast‑moving environment and consistently meets workload expectations within defined timelines.
  • Capable of sustaining a high level of productivity while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Approaches high‑volume work with organization, efficiency, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Account Maintenance: Process account adds, closures, modifications
  • Maintain and update accurate record keeping
  • Audit account reviews and process updates
  • Maintain NARM Updates in SQL.
  • Product Crossing: Research and identify matching Ferguson parts crossing to Competitor Parts
  • Assisting with reviewing competitor product to Ferguson product analysis
  • Maintaining accurate product updates
  • Assist with updating, maintaining and renewing Vendor Contracts for National Accounts
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects as dictated by peak seasons and workload
  • Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities: Adhering to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Performing other duties or functions as requested by management.
