About The Position

The Sales Operations Analyst will have the exciting opportunity to provide critical data and business analytical support to the Sales Operations Manager and the Consumer Sales Team. This position is integral to maintain the sales and profit objectives of the business while at the same time providing timely data and decision-making information to facilitate growth of the existing customer base, business channels and market share within Canada given the budgets in place.

Requirements

  • University degree from an accredited institution in business, marketing or sales.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales analytics role, or in an analytical customer service-oriented role, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills in Tableau, SAP and Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Solid presentation skills with a strong ability to translate/visualize data into PowerPoint presentations.
  • Proficiency in planning and organization with keen attention to details.
  • Time management skills requiring the ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects independently.
  • The confidence to make decisions and function individually without direct guidance, while meeting departmental and organizational goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with consumer tire industry is an asset.
  • French linguistic abilities an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize analytical methods to understand, predict and positively impact customer/channel sales opportunities (sales program targets, market share, ROI, profitability, etc…).
  • Identify critical business data and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate the data into a consistent and usable format to analyze business trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Work with Sales Operations, Pricing & Data Analytics dept. to design, build and maintain reports, dashboards and KPI’s to monitor business performance, track programs and customer performance to identify sales opportunities.
  • Lead customer/channel-specific data and performance reporting projects and needs by working collaboratively with Sales Team.
  • Responsible for channel and program reporting, earning calculations etc…
  • Provide Backup and Support to Sales Management team as needed
  • Support Field sales teams on distributor and dealer/channel requests as needed, including maintaining monthly customer lists.
  • Coordinate regular program communications and updates to sales teammates.
  • Coordinate industry research on competitive programs and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the Sales Team for inquiries related to Tableau and SAP.
  • Other duties as assigned which will include administrative tasks.
