The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing sales performance through the development, implementation, and management of reports and analytics. This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, with a strong focus on data accuracy and process improvements. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, compensation, business or financial analytics and/or CRM administration.
  • Influencer; demonstrated ability to support change initiatives.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; proven ability to solve problems.
  • Senior/expert level skills in at least one CRM systems; considered a transferrable skill (Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, Anaplan, PBI).
  • Expert Excel skills and very high attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to deploy KPIs and dashboards accurately and on time.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: CRM (i.e., Salesforce, Anaplan) Admin or Developer certification is considered a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, where additional years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education, and vice versa.

Responsibilities

  • Administer periodic results and commission calculations with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for discrepancies and queries.
  • Analyze performance against plans and support SPIF (Sales Performance Incentive Fund) execution.
  • Assist in annual plan preparation including quota setting and letter generation.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting systems.
  • Collect/document reporting requests.
  • Develop, maintain & publish insightful/meaningful dashboards & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage Sales Performance Management metrics, including results, activities, and productivity.
  • Support the above initiatives by being a superuser and/or developer (tool dependent) of the software stack (including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan, AI).
  • Define & support initiatives to enhance, document, and collect meaningful data.
  • Enhance accuracy of data via monitoring and correction.
  • Ad hoc support as needed; for example, forecasting process.
  • Build tools, document standard work, and support execution.
