About The Position

Altruist is transforming the multi-trillion dollar wealth management industry by building an AI platform for wealth professionals. We partner with financial advisors nationwide, empowering them to grow, optimize time and resources, and deliver superior outcomes for their clients. We're looking for exceptional talent to help us achieve our mission of making financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to all. If you're passionate about challenging the status quo and want to do the most important work of your life, we'd love to meet you! Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Client Development team. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll build and maintain the reporting, analytics, and operational infrastructure that enables our Sales and Client Development teams to operate with clarity, consistency, and predictability. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, systems, and strategy — owning core sales reporting, optimizing Salesforce and related tools, and surfacing insights that improve pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and rep productivity. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning messy data into clear answers and wants to play a key role in scaling a high‑growth fintech company.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, data structures, and basic administration best practices).
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfort working with large datasets (SQL experience is a plus).
  • Experience working with sales or revenue analytics (pipeline, conversion funnels, forecasting, productivity).
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a bias toward clear, structured thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex data into simple narratives and recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with custodians, advisor‑facing platforms, or asset management.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode) to design and maintain dashboards.
  • Experience using LLMs and AI agents (Glean preferred) to improve workflows and drive leverage across the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the reporting, analytics, and operational infrastructure that powers day‑to‑day execution and leadership decision‑making.
  • Enable better decision‑making through sales dashboards and reporting across executive, manager, and rep levels (e.g., bookings, pipeline, activity, conversion).
  • Analyze pipeline health, deal velocity, and stage conversion to identify growth opportunities and risks, and propose clear recommendations.
  • Support weekly and monthly forecasting with accurate, data‑driven insights and consistent definitions across the team.
  • Monitor and improve CRM data quality (primarily Salesforce), ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to global processes.
  • Deliver actionable insights on sales performance, productivity, territory coverage, and win/loss trends.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sales Leadership, BI, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance to align on metrics, definitions, and GTM priorities.
  • Help evaluate, implement, and optimize sales tools and processes that improve rep efficiency and overall sales productivity.

Benefits

  • A hybrid work schedule for most positions to promote strong, in-person collaboration.
  • Stunning, amenity-filled office spaces in Culver City, CA, San Francisco, CA, and Dallas, TX. Our offices are intentionally designed for comfort, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Competitive pay and equity for eligible positions.
  • Premium healthcare, dental, and vision insurance plans (HMO and PPO).
  • 401k savings plan with a 4% match and immediate vesting.
  • 16 week paid parental leave after one year of employment.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities including an employee mobility program and an annual L&D budget allocation for each employee.
  • Company perks program (includes discounts on pet insurance, fitness, cell phone plans, and travel, etc.).
  • Financial guidance program (includes counseling on navigating debt, tracking personal spend, saving and planning goals, home-purchasing preparedness, etc.).
  • One month work from anywhere policy (with the exception of a few countries).
  • Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package, along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs) for eligible roles.
  • Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically in conjunction with performance review cycles.
  • By evaluating compensation on a regular basis, we are able to reward high performance and ensure all employees have opportunities for growth.
  • We review all employee pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure fair, equitable, and competitive pay.
  • At Altruist, we are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation by leveraging market data to inform our pay bands.
