Sales Operation Specialist

The Redesign Group
•$75,000 - $75,000

About The Position

The Redesign Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support our Northwest, Midwest and Canadian sales regions. This is an operations-focused role designed for someone who thrives behind the scenes—keeping data accurate, processes moving, and ensuring the operational details behind our sales organization are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate brings experience in sales operations, order processing, and Salesforce, preferably within a VAR, technology solutions provider, or similar environment. This role is not quota-carrying and does not own quoting, renewals, or direct selling activities. Instead, this individual will serve as a key operational partner to our sales organization, Finance, and other internal teams. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean data, strong follow-through, process accuracy, and becoming a trusted operational resource for the business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, sales support, or a similar operational role.
  • Hands-on experience working within Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
  • Strong follow-through and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to learn unfamiliar processes and become a subject-matter resource.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a VAR, technology reseller, IT solutions provider, or similar environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting Canadian or other international entities is preferred.
  • Public sector, government contracting, or contract vehicle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational needs of the Central U.S. and Canadian sales regions, including order processing, Salesforce data integrity, and ensuring required information is accurate and complete throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate the initial intake and onboarding of new customers, gathering required documentation and partnering closely with Finance to ensure customers are properly established, credit requirements are completed, and opportunities can move efficiently toward booking.
  • Own the operational lifecycle of deal registrations, including submission, tracking, resubmission, validation, and ensuring registrations are properly reflected through revenue recognition.
  • Develop expertise in The Redesign Group's government contract vehicles and related processes, serving as an internal resource as knowledge develops. Prior public sector or government contracting experience is a plus, but a willingness and ability to learn is equally important.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable data across Salesforce and related systems, perform appropriate due diligence, identify missing or inconsistent information, and proactively follow through with internal stakeholders to keep processes moving.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match (annual dollar cap applied)
  • Flexible time off plan
  • 15 paid holidays
  • Sick leave (amount varies by state requirements and is at least the minimum required by any state)
  • Short-term and long-term disability
  • Life insurance
  • Paid parental leave
