Merchandiser -Part time - Idaho Falls
About The Position
Franz Family Bakery is seeking a part-time Sales Merchandiser to maintain bakery products in assigned stores in the Idaho Falls, Idaho area. The role helps ensure customers have fresh, well-presented products on store shelves. The position is approximately 20 hours or less per week, with a schedule to be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. The Merchandiser stocks shelves, rotates outdated products, faces products, and keeps assigned bakery displays neat and orderly. The role also involves driving a company vehicle to customer locations and loading and unloading products, including pushing and pulling product racks and trays. The position requires frequent physical handling and the ability to maneuver bulky racks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar merchandising position.
- Solid work history and a proven record of reliability, safety, and a positive attitude.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.; schedule to be discussed at interview.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky product racks.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
- Clean driving record and ability to provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
