Requirements

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Highly organized and excellent at multitasking.

  • Highly flexible and able to quickly think of creative solutions.
  • Comfortable managing others and requesting tasks of others when needed.
  • College degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or related field.
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft office (programs frequently used include Word, Excel).
  • Promote positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • A basic grasp of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Create, and copy edit text for company catalogs
  • Compile and assist with creating marketing materials
  • Proofread all marketing materials
  • Support the marketing and sales staff by creating sales and organizational materials as needed
  • Maintain lists and distribute material quantities and final ship to quantities
  • Assist with creating catalogs/flyers with Edelweiss Designer as needed
  • Conduct one-on-one and/or group training sessions – when needed
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Edelweiss Interactive Online catalogs
  • Upload information that does not feed automatically (DRCs – uploading of titles - daily, Weekly maintenance from “Change Memo’s”, Related titles – manual process, Sell Sheets, Bonus Materials, Videos – manual process all done upon request)
  • Manage users for Edelweiss Interactive Online catalogs
  • Distribute advanced copies of new titles to the Marketing & Sales department
  • Maintain spreadsheet of distributed advances
  • Assist with gathering information for proposed trade shows, research, make estimates and finalize show list and budgets.
  • Assist with managing all aspects of the trade shows including ensuring attendees understand their roles, have materials etc.
  • Assist with preparation and shipping of all materials needed for individual trade shows.
  • Assist with preparation of reports after each trade show for use in planning the following year.
  • Assist with updating sales ordering tools for trade shows ie Brandwise and Square.
  • Metadata book checks
  • Title Assets – keeping these up-to-date
  • Sales Conference assistance
  • Support other sales & marketing manager requests for materials
  • Manage Marketing Calendar – add trade shows to the Sales Group calendar
  • Assist with Monthly Reporting
  • Customer Service emails
  • Assisting with Marketing mailing when needed
