About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong commercial orientation, leadership, and experience in the tourism sector to lead the sales strategy. The selected person will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with clients and business partners, leading the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of billing and profitability objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.
  • Previous experience leading commercial teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of tourist products, destinations, vacation packages, and travel services.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, reservation systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Availability to travel and participate in activities outside regular hours when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English; other languages will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the agency's commercial strategy.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team.
  • Establish objectives, performance indicators, and action plans.
  • Supervise the sales funnel, quotes, and client follow-up.
  • Identify new opportunities in the vacation, corporate, and group segments.
  • Develop relationships with key clients, companies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, and other strategic allies.
  • Negotiate rates, commercial agreements, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate campaigns and promotions with the marketing team.
  • Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and results presentations.
  • Ensure an excellent service experience throughout the commercial process.
  • Represent the agency at fairs, events, and networking activities.
  • Ensure compliance with margins, commercial policies, and quality standards.
