About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Sales Managing Director to lead growth across its Products Vertical in Canada. This executive leader will own the full-cycle growth strategy, from market planning and execution to building, scaling, and mentoring a high-performing new-logo acquisition team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership expertise, strong industry acumen, and a passion for delivering measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in IT Services, Consulting, and/or Technology Solutions
  • Strong understanding of offerings including: Application Services, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions, Consulting & Digital Transformation, AI, Data & Analytics, Sustainability Services
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales with demonstrated success driving market expansion and go-to-market innovation
  • 10+ years of industry experience across one or more sectors: Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Retail & CPG, Telecom/Media, Travel & Transportation
  • Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives (cloud, application modernization, managed services)
  • 5+ years leading geographically dispersed sales teams handling complex enterprise sales cycles with annual contract values exceeding $100M+
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute innovative go-to-market strategies with an entrepreneurial focus on market penetration within Products industry clients
  • Drive sustained revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion initiatives
  • Build and cultivate C-level relationships to position NTT DATA as a trusted strategic advisor
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Executives and Account Managers
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, deal governance, and complex enterprise deal strategy
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, contracting, risk management, and corporate policies
  • Leverage deep industry knowledge to create differentiated, value-driven sales propositions
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (Client Growth Office, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Technology Leaders) and external alliance partners
  • Lead pursuit strategies and deliver executive-level presentations for large-scale transformation deals
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor top-tier sales talent
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Build and scale a geographically distributed, high-performance sales organization
