About The Position

MIRK Inc. is a rental company that provides equipment for the utility and forestry industries. We are looking for a salesperson/manager to run our McHenry, IL branch. This position is full time. We are looking for a well-rounded individual to be able to fulfill both roles.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Technical and mechanical knowledge
• Detail-oriented trouble-shooting skills needed for problem solving
• Accounting skills in order to run a successful shop
• Sales background

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical or utility equipment background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve existing customers with their rental and sale needs for utility equipment.
• Acquire new accounts through calls and meetings with potential customers.
• Obtain orders and maintain accounts.
• Manage 2 to 3 employees.
• Schedule equipment for servicing and DOT inspections.
• Provide leadership and set an example for employees.
