About The Position

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of sales management experience in a multi-layered sales organization, including experience managing frontline and supervisory staff.
  • Sales experience in retail and consumer goods desired.
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Comfort level using apps and technology to deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Superior communication and relationship-building ability.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous desire to improve.

Nice To Haves

  • Beverage and beer experience is a strong plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and achieve goals and objectives for volume sales achievement and trade contact development.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and increase the distribution of the company’s portfolio in the assigned territory.
  • Ensure successful execution of ABS programming by sales team within the assigned territory.
  • Serve as key contact with supplier personnel to execute sales and marketing plans in the assigned area.
  • Maintain budgetary guidelines effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee all quality assurance efforts.
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve branch and area sales, distribution, and merchandising goals.
  • Manage the daily activities of direct reports within the assigned territory.
  • Assess and develop associate skill levels, effectively evaluate each direct report and provide personal development plans for each individual.
  • Responsible for the overall management of company property, including but not limited to, company vehicles.
