About The Position

TOMRA is seeking a Sales Manager to take ownership of the North East England region. This role involves building strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the rollout of TOMRA solutions, particularly in preparation for the UK Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) launching in October 2027. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage their territory and strategy while being part of a collaborative UK-wide team. The role focuses on new business development, identifying opportunities, building relationships with retailers, and guiding them towards long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of new business development across your region—from first conversations through to signed agreements
  • Build relationships with retailers and key stakeholders ahead of DRS implementation
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and identify where TOMRA can support
  • Work closely with colleagues to shape proposals, pricing, and value cases
  • Support pilot and trial projects as a pathway to long-term partnerships
  • Plan and manage your own pipeline, turning opportunities into sustainable business
  • Represent TOMRA in customer meetings and regional industry events
