About The Position

They are seeking a Sales Manager to oversee wholesale business performance across assigned accounts and categories, while also managing and developing the sales team. This role involves partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive revenue growth, account strategy, forecasting, and operational execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 7–10+ years related wholesale sales experience
  • Prior management or team leadership experience preferred
  • Expertise in retail math, forecasting, inventory planning, and business analysis
  • Strong retailer relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and develop junior team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee assigned retailer business and account strategy
  • Drive topline sales growth and profitability across assigned accounts and categories
  • Partner with buyers, planners, and internal cross-functional teams to execute seasonal business strategies
  • Analyze sales performance, inventory trends, markdowns, and replenishment opportunities
  • Lead forecasting, open-to-buy planning, and inventory management discussions
  • Develop and execute selling initiatives and assortment strategies
  • Identify expansion opportunities across categories and distribution channels
  • Manage operational execution including order tracking, shipping follow-up, and inventory flow
  • Monitor competitive landscape and react to market trends and retailer performance
  • Present business recaps, forecasts, and growth opportunities internally and externally
  • Mentor, manage, and develop Sales Assistants, Associate Account Executives, Junior Account Executives, and/or Account Executives
  • Partner with leadership on organizational planning, business growth initiatives, and retailer strategy
  • Manage multiple businesses and priorities within a fast-paced environment
