About The Position

Jeff Wyler Hyundai of Fairfield is looking for a high-energy Hyundai Sales Manager who is ready to take the sales floor to another level. This role is a launch pad for a Sales Manager who knows how to lead, motivate, close, coach, and WIN. The mission is to build people, drive performance, and create customers for life. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing talent, working deals, driving accountability, and creating an environment where motivated people can do their best work.

Requirements

3+ years of automotive sales manager experience preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Experience working and structuring automotive deals
Strong understanding of the complete automotive sales process
Experience with customer negotiations and objection handling
Understanding of dealership KPIs, including traffic, appointments, closing ratios, units, gross, and profitability
Experience coaching, training, and developing sales professionals
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including evenings, weekends, and high-volume periods

Responsibilities

Lead from the front and stay actively involved on the sales floor
Coach and develop sales consultants through real-time training and feedback
Structure and negotiate deals while balancing customer satisfaction and dealership objectives
Set expectations and create accountability throughout the sales team
Monitor traffic, appointments, closing ratios, units, gross, and other key performance metrics
Help recruit, train, develop, and retain talented salespeople
Create a competitive, positive, and team-oriented sales environment
Protect the customer experience throughout the entire sales process
Work closely with the General Manager and dealership leadership
Jump into challenging deals and help find solutions
Recognize strong performance and keep the team focused on the next goal
