About The Position

Fitness Connection is seeking a driven and high-performing Sales Manager to lead from the front, consistently hitting personal goals while motivating their team to exceed theirs. This is a hands-on, high-accountability, full-time role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments. The Sales Manager is responsible for owning the sales culture and performance of their club, leading, training, and motivating their team, and achieving personal sales targets. This role offers a pathway to Club Manager through the Manager in Training (MIT) program.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of successful sales leadership with full-cycle sales experience.
  • A high-output individual who consistently hits or exceeds their own goals and enjoys competing.
  • A player-coach mindset, developing the team while staying sharp in personal skillsets.
  • Strong communication and motivation skills; ability to give clear direction, hold people accountable, and lift the team.
  • Disciplined and data-driven, using numbers to track progress, uncover opportunities, and guide decisions.
  • A fitness advocate who believes in the company's mission.
  • Tech-comfortable, quick to adapt to new systems, and comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with personal sales goals and consistently exceed them.
  • Coach and develop a team of Fitness Consultants to high performance through daily check-ins, skill building, and accountability.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including touring guests, following up on leads, closing memberships, and converting prospects into members.
  • Recruit and onboard talent who are competitive, coachable, and passionate about fitness.
  • Break down team and individual goals into daily action plans with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Plan and execute sales events, community outreach, and referral drives to increase traffic and awareness.
  • Ensure operational excellence in front desk experience, lead tracking, proshop retail sales, and club appearance.
  • Use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and adjust in real-time.
  • Partner with the Club Manager to align on strategy, people decisions, and club performance goals.
