About The Position

Responsible for the sale of all Precision products within the Central U.S. territory and for the selection and development of the following accounts; Distributor, Original Equipment Manufacturer (O.E.M), Engineering/Consultant, and End-Users.

  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to attain MSHA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully working with the project management & inside sales teams
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures a strong company presence with current and future companies
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of project sales/management team
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with inside sales contacts and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Responsibilities relative to each assigned customer account includes sales growth, profit margins, quotation follow-up, product training, and frequent personal visits (3-4 on top 20% and targeted accounts).
  • Work directly with corporate decision makers and outside sales to maintain and grow existing and new business.
  • Work with estimating, engineering, and outside sales to improve communications, improve order close rate, and provide a professional customer presentation of package quotes.
  • Apply verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customer interactions.
  • Manage and organize own work while remaining a "team player."
  • Maintain a team environment with other departments.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicate laws.
  • Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action.
  • Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness and a strong work ethic.
  • In conjunction with the Divisional Sales Manager and associated Managers, assist with the development and formulation of short- and long-range plans, policies, programs, operating procedures and objectives.
  • Frequently, domestic travel may be required, including the ability to drive and/or fly for extended periods.
  • Continually participate in additional training related to the job.
  • Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
  • Submit all required reports and expenses within the required guidelines and time frame.
