Hotel Equities is seeking a Sales Manager for Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. The primary purpose of this role is to meet and exceed revenue goals by developing new accounts and growing current hotel accounts through a profitable and win-win selling approach. The Sales Manager will provide warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance to reassure guests. This position requires achieving productivity and activity goals set by management, engaging in direct sales calls, managing key accounts, developing new accounts by targeting competitor accounts, acquiring referrals from existing accounts, and implementing a targeted account development plan. The role also involves utilizing yield management techniques, maintaining strong customer relationships through frequent communication and professional interaction, developing customer profiles, promptly following up on customer needs, and conducting market research to capitalize on the hotel's strengths and competitor weaknesses. Time management is crucial, with a focus on revenue-producing activities and dedicating a minimum of 90% of work time to direct sales efforts. The Sales Manager must control expenses, represent the company with integrity and professionalism, exhibit a positive team attitude, and maintain a neat, clean, and business-like appearance.
