About The Position

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales activities and business growth within the assigned territory. This position requires a deep understanding of valve automation solutions, along with proven experience in technical sales and a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Sector Manager, the Sales Manager will serve as a key representative of the company, consistently delivering high-quality service and fostering long-term customer loyalty to successfully achieve strategic sales initiatives. Through proactive engagement and a consultative approach, this individual will contribute to increased revenue generation and enhanced profitability across the region. This role also offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our global CPI teams, enabling cross-functional coordination and knowledge sharing. They will ensure a unified and efficient approach to managing customer expectations, overseeing project execution, and achieving successful sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven understanding in Valve Automation associated with the Mining Industry.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • Experience in the sale of engineered industrial products through direct and indirect channels.
  • Proficiency with a CRM and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record.
  • Valid passport - willingness to travel, including some overnights.
  • French and English are required.
  • Tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers.
  • Sound time management and planning skills.
  • High level of self-motivation, independence and self-reliance.

  • Engineering degree or diploma is an asset.
