About The Position

The Sales Manager- Pump Fabrications is pivotal in driving sales growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with customers. This position involves actively engaging with clients, quoting and processing sales orders, and ensuring accurate documentation within the company's systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities. The candidate should have knowledge of vertical turbine pump assemblies and fabrications (heads, column pipe and pump cans) including carbon, stainless and other metallurgies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales in the vertical turbine pump industry.
  • Must have specific knowledge of vertical pump componentry in all markets.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to travel in continental United States.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with potential and existing customers throughoutboundsales calls, emails, and visits to promote company products and services.
  • Cultivate andmaintainstrong relationships with customers andoutside salesteamto enhance sales opportunities and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensuretimelyandaccurateprocessing of quotes, orders, and other sales-related documentation.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track and document sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activitiesto position company offerings in the market effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue.
