As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the hotel's profits while maintaining customer satisfaction, and meeting and exceeding forecasted and budgeted revenue goals. You will manage group and transient accounts, negotiate business and contracts to meet revenue goals, and make on-site and field presentations to prospective clients. This role involves actively pursuing new clients through various sales techniques and prospecting methods, identifying opportunities to upsell customers, and driving strategies to develop long-term business relationships and repeat business. You will also attend tradeshows, conduct unique site inspections, create customized menus and proposals, and respond to customer inquiries promptly. Maintaining accurate booking information, producing accurate group resumes, and providing client and hotel support are key responsibilities. You will also maintain liaison with other hotel departments, be an active part of the property team, drive product quality, and ensure a positive guest experience. Developing and maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships and open communication lines are essential for efficient information transfer and scheduling meetings and business group activities.
