About The Position

Sales Managers work directly with all staff throughout the entire Sales process, from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Northtown’s policies and performance expectations. The role requires the manager to demonstrate, train, coach, and mentor the entire sales process with the sales team. Management will be involved early on with all guests to support the sales team throughout the entire sales process. The manager must follow the desking process set forth that is consistent and informative to ensure the sales process is being utilized. Additionally, all customer activity involving the purchase of a vehicle, sold and unsold, must be followed up on. The role also involves supporting Advanced TO for Financial Services and mastering the Sales Manager contribution to sell a warranty. The manager must effectively lead and manage staff to ensure company objectives are being met.

Requirements

  • Previous success in an automotive sales role, for 3+ years required
  • Previous Sales Management experience, minimum 3-5 years required
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to operate smartphone, tablet and/or PC.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate, train, coach, and mentor the entire sales process with the sales team.
  • Accurately enter all floor traffic into the CRM each day the store is open.
  • Count and document every inquiry of a vehicle, including walk-ins, guests from service inquiring about a vehicle, incoming phone calls, internet leads, etc.
  • Be involved with all guests early on to support the sales team throughout the entire sales process.
  • Follow the desking process set forth that is consistent and informative.
  • Follow up on all customer activity involving the purchase of a vehicle, sold and unsold.
  • Support Advanced TO for Financial Services and the products offered.
  • Master the Sales Manager contribution to sell a warranty.
  • Effectively lead and manage staff to ensure company objectives are being met.
