About The Position

The Geraghty North, the newest luxury event venue from Kehoe Designs, is opening in Spring/Summer 2027—and we're looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to help launch it. This is more than a sales position. It's an opportunity to build a new market, establish lasting client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the success of one of the region's most exciting event destinations. You'll lead business development efforts across corporate events, weddings, galas, nonprofit fundraisers, and social celebrations while partnering with our award-winning Event Designers, Producers, and venue teams to deliver unforgettable experiences. Reporting to the Director of Venues, you'll have the autonomy to build your territory, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue while collaborating with one of the industry's most creative event companies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven sales success in hospitality, luxury events, catering, event production, event décor, floral, restaurant, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently close high-value sales.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience developing proposals, interpreting contracts, and understanding financial reporting and commission structures.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and PowerPoint; CRM and event management software experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of luxury venues and the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to clients and other markets as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, strategic outreach, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, nonprofits, event professionals, and community partners.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue goals through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Conduct venue tours, client meetings, sales presentations, and proposal development.
  • Represent The Geraghty North with professionalism and enthusiasm in the marketplace.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, target markets, and emerging opportunities, including beverage and hospitality trends.
  • Guide clients through every stage of the sales process, from initial inquiry through signed contract.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure deposits and payment schedules according to company standards.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring each client's vision is understood and successfully executed.
  • Attend client events to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for future business.
  • Partner closely with Event Designers, Event Producers, Technical Producers, Venue Event Representatives, and venue operations to deliver seamless events.
  • Act as a primary client contact during planning, installations, event execution, and load-out when appropriate.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries, scheduling, Certificates of Insurance, and event logistics.
  • Ensure all event details align with contractual commitments and client expectations.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, contracts, and sales reports.
  • Track activity, performance metrics, and revenue goals.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing business development initiatives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of venue capabilities, inventory, pricing structures, and service offerings.
