Your contributions as a member of our Field Sales, OEM team will play a vital role in maintaining our strong customer partnerships, enabling them to manage their technology, connectivity, and security needs so their organizations are equipped to solve today's challenges and shape tomorrow. Position Summary: The Field Salesperson specializes in selling physical security and digital media solutions to new and growing markets within the assigned territory (NE, SW or N. Texas territories). This includes identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth in the physical security and digital media markets.  The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or the equivalent amount of training and hands-on experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of field sales experience, preferably in the physical security and/or digital media industry.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of physical security systems, digital media solutions, and related technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Work Style: Highly motivated, self-directed and capable of working autonomously to prioritize and deliver results
  • Travel Capability:  Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (Western US preferred), with some nation-wide travel, as necessary for clients and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients within the physical security and digital media segments.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to strategically position Trafera's value proposition.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotas and satisfy margin requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Manage input and data integrity for customer and market data using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other tracking tools to create reports and analysis to forecast and manage sales growth and customer relationships.
