About The Position

CFIB is seeking an energetic, ambitious, and driven individual for a Sales Manager in Training role. This position offers a hands-on sales experience combined with structured leadership training and mentoring from experienced managers. The role involves developing relationships with SMB owners, understanding their challenges, providing tailored solutions, driving new business development, and growing a territory with entrepreneurial ownership. The goal is to prepare the individual to become a future Sales Manager by mastering sales strategies, tools, and technology.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
  • Approachable, outgoing, and able to build strong client relationships.
  • Motivated by purpose and eager to help small business owners.
  • Thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Open to feedback, love learning, and take initiative to grow skills.
  • Comfortable with CRMs, iPads, digital presentations, and using tech to optimize the sales process.
  • Driven and goal-oriented, with a desire to win independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Access to a vehicle.
  • Ready to be on the move in your territory.
