About The Position

CFIB is seeking an energetic, ambitious, and driven individual for a Sales Manager in Training role. This position is ideal for a rising star in sales who thrives on challenges, innovation, and growth. The role involves helping small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) by connecting with people and making a real impact. The training program includes hands-on sales experience combined with structured leadership training and mentoring from experienced managers. The goal is to prepare the individual to become a future Sales Manager.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Approachable, outgoing, and able to build strong client relationships.
• Motivated by purpose, eager to help small business owners, and thrive in dynamic environments.
• Open to feedback, love learning, and take initiative to grow skills.
• Comfortable with CRMs, iPads, digital presentations, and using tech to optimize the sales process.
• Driven and goal-oriented, with a love for results and winning.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Access to a vehicle.
• Ready to be on the move in your territory.

Responsibilities

• Learn, grow, and lead through hands-on sales and leadership training.
• Develop relationships with SMB owners, understand their challenges, and provide tailored solutions.
• Drive new business development and grow your own territory with entrepreneurial ownership.
• Master sales strategies, tools, and tech to prepare for a Sales Manager role.
