This role is for a Sales Manager - Fleet at Go Auto. Requirements

  • Demonstrate professionalism and a good attitude

  • Assist the GSM /GM with advertising and promotional campaigns
  • Assist General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for department
  • Assist in forecasting of goals and objectives and strive to meet them
  • Compile reports and information related to their department.
  • Inform the GSM/GM and sales staff of the units available for sale (old stockers), units needed for inventory, and units that are being offered at special prices every day
  • Positively affect deal flow throughout the sales process
  • Attain and maintain factory certification, as specified by manufacturer
  • Maintain appropriate CSI scores specified by the manufacture
  • Oversee the Steps to the Sale process (established by the GM with the sales staff)
  • Desk deals according to guidelines
  • Assist in maintaining and selecting inventory
  • Perform used vehicle appraisals within Go Auto’s appraisal guidelines
  • Deal jackets and cover sheets to be kept at the sales desks. All items are to be completed for F&I to accept a deal
  • Ensure that the dealership has written documentation of the results of each guest or customer that visits
  • Responsible for rectifying any customer concern that has been brought to them and escalating to GSM/GM if necessary
  • Assist in developing programs of improvement, especially for those salespeople who are failing to reach objectives
  • Maintain a daily report including but not limited to number of guests, appointments, demos, writes and total sold and delivered customers
  • Ensure the adequate training and development of all staff and self to satisfy both operational and franchise requirements (including Go Auto University)
  • May be required to prepare a schedule and maintain coverage of the sales floor
  • May be required to recruit, hire, train and motivate sales staff daily
  • May be required to perform Goal Setting and Performance reviews with all staff members on the team
  • May be required to evaluate the growth and performance of sales staff, with an emphasis on increasing front end gross
  • May be required to ensure Assistant Sales Managers are complete their tasks daily
  • Other duties assigned by management
