About The Position

Don Hattan Automotive Group is seeking a motivated leader with automotive experience to fill the role of Sales Manager/Backup Finance Manager. This position offers an earning potential of over $100,000 and a 5-day work week with every Sunday off and one scheduled Saturday off per month. The ideal candidate will have experience leading sales teams, desking deals, and will be able to step into the Finance Office when needed. This is a leadership opportunity within a family-owned dealership that has been serving the Wichita community for over 75 years. The role requires a passion for developing people, maximizing dealership profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

2–3+ years of automotive dealership experience
Strong experience structuring and desking automotive deals
Knowledge of automotive lenders and underwriting guidelines
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in automotive sales, finance, or dealership leadership preferred
Experience with RouteOne and CUDL preferred
Familiarity with vAuto, VinSolutions, and Dealertrack is a plus
Vehicle appraisal and bidding experience is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Oversee daily showroom operations, sales activities, and lead follow-up.
Structure and desk vehicle deals that maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
Build and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure financing.
Serve as the backup Finance Manager as needed.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, lender guidelines, and industry regulations.
Foster a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture.
