About The Position

Don Hattan Automotive Group is seeking an experienced automotive professional to serve as a Sales Manager and Backup Finance Manager. This role involves leading a high-performing sales team, desking deals, and stepping into the Finance Office when necessary. The position offers a leadership opportunity within a family-owned dealership that has a long-standing history in the Wichita community. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, maximizing dealership profitability, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

2–3+ years of automotive dealership experience
Strong experience structuring and desking automotive deals
Knowledge of automotive lenders and underwriting guidelines
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in automotive sales, finance, or dealership leadership preferred
Experience with RouteOne and CUDL preferred
Familiarity with vAuto, VinSolutions, and Dealertrack is a plus
Vehicle appraisal and bidding experience is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Oversee daily showroom operations, sales activities, and lead follow-up.
Structure and desk vehicle deals that maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
Build and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure financing.
Serve as the backup Finance Manager as needed.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, lender guidelines, and industry regulations.
Foster a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture.
