About The Position

BMW/MINI of Sterling is hiring a Sales Lot Attendant to support inventory management, vehicle preparation, and efficient dealership operations in order to provide a seamless customer experience. The role involves moving and working with vehicles, preparing sold vehicles for delivery, maintaining vehicle appearance, and assisting with related dealership operations. The schedule is Monday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, and one Sunday per month from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM. Tuesday is off. The position reports to the Sales Manager. Pay is $16 to $18 per hour; actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location, with final compensation established through the interview process. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
Acceptable driving record.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence.

Responsibilities

Move and work with vehicles to maintain vehicle displays and support sales activities.
Deliver vehicles to sites and locations as required.
Monitor vehicle tire pressure and add air and fuel as needed.
Recognize general vehicle repairs or building maintenance needs and notify management.
Prepare sold vehicles for delivery.
Prioritize vehicles for delivery preparation or washing based on general appearance.
Assist the shuttle driver as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
