About The Position

The Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Sales Leadership Program is a 12-month development program designed to immerse participants in LG&E business operations and cultivate leadership skills. Through a combination of on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the business. A key aspect of the program involves leading and administering special projects in sales execution, providing direct support to a general sales manager and their team of territory managers. Participants are expected to collaborate within a team environment to develop innovative customer-focused solutions and effective sales strategies. This role also requires hands-on customer interaction, including troubleshooting specific customer problems onsite, sharing technical knowledge, and recommending solutions. Product and application demonstrations to new account customers, or assisting senior sales professionals with demonstrations, are also part of the responsibilities. The program encourages proactive business development through cold calling, both onsite and via phone, to generate new leads. Participants will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on promoting sales, negotiating product supply agreements, and delivering dedicated account service.
