AE - Sales Leader (Full-Time)
About The Position
As a full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading effective Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a strong guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive sales results while representing the company’s values. The role focuses on maximizing salesfloor and fitting room productivity, building guest loyalty, developing and engaging associates, and executing visual and operational procedures. You also help maintain store safety, follow Asset Protection standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail, strong priority-setting, and time-management skills.
- Business acumen.
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities
- Lead as a Leader on Duty and support the Store Leadership Team with daily store operations as needed.
- Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and supporting efforts to achieve KPI results.
- Motivate and inspire associates through the company’s core values, and hold them accountable to service standards.
- Recruit and hire talent to meet store staffing needs.
- Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and support a Guest First culture.
- Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing feedback through real-time coaching.
- Drive associate engagement by recognizing and celebrating strong performance.
- Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
- Keep Fitting Rooms guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Maintain store safety standards, follow Asset Protection standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
