AE - Sales Leader (Full-Time)
About The Position
As a full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts, ensuring a stellar guest experience, and handling daily store operations as needed. You train, motivate, and celebrate associates while driving sales results and representing the company’s values. The role focuses on maximizing salesfloor and fitting-room productivity, building guest loyalty, developing and coaching associates, and maintaining visual, operational, safety, and asset-protection standards. You help keep the store staffed to meet business needs and ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail, with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Business acumen.
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities
- Lead Leader on Duty shifts and support the Store Leadership Team with daily store operations.
- Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and supporting KPI results.
- Motivate and inspire associates while holding them accountable to service standards, particularly on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Recruit and hire talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs.
- Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and support a Guest First culture.
- Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
- Celebrate associate performance and drive team engagement.
- Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
- Keep Fitting Rooms guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards and follow company policies and procedures.
