AE - Sales Leader (Full-Time)
About The Position
As a full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and help drive sales results. You represent the company’s values and bring your authentic self to work. The role focuses on sales-floor and fitting-room productivity, guest loyalty, team leadership and development, visual execution, operational procedures, and maintaining safety and asset-protection standards. Sales Leaders motivate associates, set attainable goals, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and help ensure the store is staffed and ready to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading teams in a retail management role.
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
- Strong priority-setting and time-management skills.
- Business acumen.
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop.

Responsibilities
- Lead LOD shifts and support the Store Leadership Team with daily store operations as needed.
- Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a strong in-store experience.
- Support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities and achieving KPI results.
- Motivate and inspire associates while modeling AEO’s core values and service standards.
- Recruit and hire talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs.
- Train and develop associates so they provide outstanding service and support a Guest First culture.
- Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
- Celebrate strong associate performance and promote team engagement.
- Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
- Keep Fitting Rooms guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Maintain store safety standards, follow Asset Protection standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
