About The Position
Event Network operates retail experiences at destinations across the United States. At Mystic Seaport Museum, the retail store supports the Museum’s mission to preserve, celebrate, and share America’s maritime history. The Part-Time Seasonal Sales Lead supports the management team with daily store operations and leads the retail team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role involves engaging visitors, helping them find maritime-themed products, and creating an enjoyable shopping experience. The Sales Lead works alongside the management team in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a keyholder or in a supervisory role.
- A friendly, outgoing personality.
- Comfort interacting with guests of all ages.
- Proactive approach to showcasing products.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand and walk frequently, and occasionally reach, climb, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Availability for a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- Merchandising ability, including organizing and presenting products to attract guests’ attention.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and provide excellent guest service.

- Support store operations, including handling cash and managing inventory.

- Assist guests in finding products and showcase merchandise.
