About The Position

PTC is hiring a Sales Intern for its 10-week US Summer Internship Program. The intern will gain hands-on experience in technology sales and business development at a global technology company, supporting either the Digital Thread BDR team or the Velocity BDR team. The Digital Thread team helps organizations connect product data across the lifecycle using PTC’s PLM, IoT, and AR solutions, while the Velocity team supports adoption of SaaS products such as cloud-native CAD and collaboration tools.

The intern will learn to research and connect with potential customers, build customer relationships, and create new business opportunities. They will work alongside sales and marketing teams, receive training and mentorship, and gain exposure to Salesforce and other sales tools. PTC describes the internship as a fast-paced, dynamic experience involving impactful projects designed to help students learn and develop. Previous sales or technology experience is not required. The anticipated hourly pay range is $25–$27, varying based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Interest in sales, business, SaaS, or technology.
• Collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship from PTC.
