Requirements

  • 2+ Years prior experience managing a retail store highly desired
  • General knowledge of industry related POS systems
  • Knowledgeable in Outlook, Excel, Word, and other MS platforms
  • Experience with managing a sales staff
  • Experience in sales planning with emphasis on tangible (driven) results highly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proactive ability to manage complex problems, projects, and employee concerns
  • Ability to be courteous, helpful, and responsive with customers (internal and external, if necessary, as well as vendors)

  • Must have and maintain a valid form of government-issued Identification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, per LCB regulations
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Must be able to use a computer/smart phone/tablet and see color.
  • Constant use of both hands and arms while using phone, notepad, drafting reports, etc.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to travel to sites as needed, required or requested
  • Must be able to work at a computer or desk area for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Sale Staff (Sales Associates and Shift Leads) to ensure excellent customer service
  • Create, maintain, and oversee schedules for all sales staff while adhering to both city and state regulations
  • Execute hiring and terminations as needed
  • Oversee employee write ups and accolades as needed
  • Act as main store admin for call outs and no shows to ensure appropriate staffing as required
  • Remain up to date on all WA State and LCB regulations
  • Ensure staff is aware of current sales, promotion and loyalty programs and follow procedures associated with them.
  • Mentoring and improving individual performance and overall store performance.
  • Perform Sales Associate duties when working on the retail floor
  • Oversees retail sales floor activities, including daily monitoring of compliance, product availability, and overall store appearance
  • Auditing and monitoring accurate clock-in/out and timely shift changes
  • Enforce company polities and rules
  • Act as initial point person for returns and special customer requests
  • Accurately close cash registers at the end of shift, including cash balancing and logging amounts for accounting when working a floor closing shift.
  • Assists Regional Sales Manager with training, staff communication and daily product offerings
  • Work with Regional Sales Manager on Sales Associate statistical analysis, Vendor Relations, Supply maintenance, daily menu monitoring, and time clock management as requested
  • Must comply with all WA State recreational cannabis regulations.
  • Establish good working relationships with other team members.
  • Foster positive communications and relationships with employees and vendors.
  • Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Actively lead and participate in meetings as requested.
  • Additional tasks as assigned
