About The Position

BizTel LLC partners with select retail energy companies across the U.S. to drive sales for electric and natural gas supply contracts. Our experienced call center specialists connect with homeowners and businesses through strategic outbound calling campaigns that convert prospects into customers. We are seeking an experienced Sales Floor Manager with a background in commercial energy sales to help lead and support our growing outbound sales team. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on driving accountability, maintaining urgency, reinforcing training, and helping the sales floor consistently perform at a high level. The ideal candidate understands outbound energy sales, can coach representatives in real time, and is comfortable stepping in to assist with deal progression and closing opportunities when needed. We're looking for someone who can immediately contribute to the growth of the organization, support sales performance, and help build a culture of consistency, accountability, and results.

Requirements

  • Energy sales experience is required
  • Strong understanding of commercial energy sales, supplier programs, utility billing, and contract sales
  • Experience working in a KPI-driven outbound sales environment
  • Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead by example while holding team members accountable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office sales environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Sales Manager, Floor Manager, Team Lead, or sales leadership experience
  • Experience developing and coaching outbound sales representatives
  • Experience helping scale and improve sales operations

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily floor accountability and performance standards
  • Manage and support daily outbound sales activity
  • Reinforce sales training, coaching, and best practices
  • Conduct sales meetings, roleplay sessions, and skill-development exercises
  • Monitor production, attendance, activity levels, and performance metrics
  • Manage pipeline activity and callback follow-up
  • Ensure opportunities continue moving through the sales process
  • Maintain urgency, consistency, and production across the floor
  • Assist representatives with objection handling and deal progression
  • Help support and assist with closes when needed
  • Review calls and provide clear, actionable coaching and development feedback
  • Track team performance and identify coaching opportunities
  • Work closely with leadership to improve sales processes, training, and overall team performance
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new sales representatives
